In our Monastery we chant: the apolytikion of the Feast of the Transfiguration, for to this event is consecrated the main church or Katholikon of the Monastery; the apolytikion of the Mother of God-Abbess of Mount Athos or Panagia Gerontissa,

the Patroness Saint of the Monastery of Pantokratoros; the apolytikia of the Saints who led the life of an ascetic in the Monastery of Pantokratoros; and the apolytikion of All the Venerable Fathers of Mount Athos. The commemoration of the Saints of the Church through the apolytikia underlines the unity of the Church. Everybody participates in the act of veneration of Jesus, our Lord; it feels like a gathering of the 'Saints' of the Church Militant and the Church Triumphant.
